This blog is for my ASL class. I love ASL so much. I wish I could take it again, but it just doesn't count toward my degree. But, I promise, I will take ASL again in the future. It is apart of me now. :)

Week Two Paragraph
Week two was about classifier, singularity and plurality. This was quite a fun week in class because we got to draw. We had pieces of paper with lego people on them and we had to classify to our partner which one we were talking about so they could then draw it on the paper. We then compared to see how close they were from getting it right. We also learned about singular and plurals and how to represent them. This week we learned from unit 6 in the book which talks about activities and how to sign about them. Overall, the second week went well when learning how to classify things even better.

Week One Paragraph
In our first week of classes we learned a lot about classifiers and talking about family. I learned the difference between prefix, infix and suffix and how to use them in context. At first it is difficult to learn when and how to use them, but after a bit of practice it became easier. I wasn't sure whether to point to the object first and then describe or describe and then point. All of that is becoming a little easier now with added practice. I also enjoyed learning about unit 5 in the book and how to talk about family. Watching it on the CD made it that much easier to understand. I think our first week started out well while learning about classifiers and talking about family.
